MULTIMEDIA APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM (MAP)
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Virtual Information Session
August 13th
7P - 8:30P
WHAT MAKES A GOOD APPLICANT?
Someone who is committed to the entire program, and can accommodate all program dates (even when things shift). The program is rigorous and a significant investment is given by the organization to each individual's success, considering the program is tuition-free.
Engaged individuals who are willing to learn and are inquisitive about parts of the industry that aren't their principal interest.
Individuals passionate about their future in the media arts and have sought learning on their own.
Some prior media production experience is great foundation, but not required as long as ego is checked at the door.
Community seekers that want to impact the world around them.
A strong application with thorough responses (one sentence isn't enough!).
Considerations Before Applying
Full-time students can apply to the program, however with the level of intensity of the program, is extremely difficult and it can often be best to move to part-time.
Transitioning to the industry full-time after the program is not immediate but we prepare for the transition during the program.
