Week 1: Foundation in Filmmaking June 17 - June 21, 2024
Embark on a journey into the world of filmmaking with our foundational camp, led by experienced industry professionals and SMU Professors. Students will explore every aspect of video production and post-production through demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on experience in various crew positions.
Week 2: From Script to Screen June 24 - June 28, 2024
In this seminar, students will dive deeper into the art of filmmaking by learning the skills necessary to produce and execute a short film project. Through team building and community development, participants will work collaboratively to bring a film project from conception to completion. Each student will have the opportunity to work in different roles on set, including writer, director, producer, cinematographer, editor, and more.
Film Showcase: Friday, June 28, 2024
Join us on Friday afternoon for a special screening of the students' work! This celebration will showcase the culmination of their efforts, allowing them to share their creations with family and friends.
